Seriously. Today has been one of "those" days, meaning the good was great and the bad was a little rough. My alarm didn't go off so I woke up late, I had an anxiety-ridden dream that threw me off the entire day, I took a mannequin to work to do a prank, but we couldn't do it today, I was so busy at work that I just felt overwhelmed, I vented to my friend at lunch over frustration with a roommate, I went to the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas concert (which I LOVED!) with my besty, for dinner, I ran to get food while she was on her way to meet me and we had to eat in 10 minutes, which made us a little late, I made a fun cheese ball that looks like a Christmas present, I talked to my roommate that's getting married about her wedding plans, I had a heart to heart with the very best friend listed above, and the list goes on.
As I look at this day (from a very tired and ready-for-bed perspective), it was a bit hectic and I am glad it's over. But even as I feel overwhelmed by it all, I think, "wow, you are alive. You, Kate Lloyd, are privileged to be in mortality to experience joys, sorrows, exhaustion, stress, laughter, and a myriad of other wonderful human emotions. You are one stinking lucky girl..."
And it's true.
... especially because I made this cheeseball. Fun, huh?
