St. Maarten = Paradise.

Hi blogging world. Long time, no blog. I still read others' blogs, but have yet to post on my own. St. Maarten was, of course, WONDERFUL. Just a reminder that I went with my brother Nathan and his wife, Paige, and daughter, EJ. They live in Cleveland, so it was so great to see them and spend a week touring the island. It was an incredible experience and it did so much to refresh my soul. Here are a few pics (are you ready to see paradise?!) I am sure I'll add more.

Self-portrait taken at the beach in Phillipsburg, which is on Dutch side. Cruise ships port here.

I have about a thousand pictures of flowers. This was one of my favorites.

This was on our little hike to see the natural arch. I like taking pictures of myself.

This is a great example of ej and her love/borderline obsession with water. She wanted it any way she could get it... even if it meant jumping into an entirely unsafe body of water.

Me playing chicken with a plane.

EJ rocking the local cart. I love her face in this picture.

Paige and EJ. Love this picture.

This is the view from our resort's beach. I want to go back... now.

The island!!

I used the excuse of taking pictures of my niece to take a pictures of the attractive European men on the beach behind her. Clever...

This is EJ's fit because we were leaving.

What a funny girl! Paige took this one!

This is Margiot...

Osborne Kruythoff. I love him. Thanks for keeping this round about safe, Osborne!

Sunset at our resort.

pAraDise? I think so!

See this sneaky guy?

There you are.

Love (and miss) the sand and waves on my feet.

I love this tree. It's so cool!

The town hall in Phillipsburg, which was on the Dutch side of the island.

I watched a real live wedding proposal!! LOVED this.

Glorious sunset... for a glorious island. I so want to go back and soon. I have a few more pictures (like 80!) on Facebook. Click here to check it out if you wish!

All of this being said, I had SUCH a wonderful time. This trip meant SO much to me.

Thanks so much Nate, Paige and EJ.

Love you forever!
