I am one blessed woman. I live in a country established by Divinely led and God-fearing men and women. Because of them, I was born into a country where we are given life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Although this freedom is constantly threatened by those who would seek to enslave, we are free as long as we fight for it.
Last night, I attended a freedom rally of sorts with Glenn Beck. He asked us who are our George Washingtons and John Adams today? Do we have them? For me, not many came to mind. Then he said something that hit home. "Those who will fight for our freedoms are about this high," as he put his hand about waist-high.
I will raise the next generation of freedom fighters. Due to the great attacks on American liberty, my children will need to fight for these precious freedoms that are under attack. I love this country and those that heard and heeded the voice of God in the founding of it. I am grateful for their sacrifices, as well as those of all the people who have fought for it since. I can't wait to raise my babies to fight for liberty!
